Innovative idea in Italy

Italians certainly are innovative and creative. I am in Italy at the moment and yesterday I saw a great example of thinking outside the square... and I wanted to share it with you.

It was in the Sandi Hotel in Milan. As you probably know many hotel rooms throughout Europe are space challenged. In other words - small. This hotel was no different. In fact I would have to say the bathroom was quite tiny.

But some clever Italian came up with an innovative way to distract the your attention from the smallness of the bathroom.
On the wall facing you, as you walk into this most important room, it looks like the painters have spilt a tin of paint down one wall. And instead of focussing on how small the bathroom was I found myself asking "I wonder if that is a mistake or is it intentional?"
